The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a Farm / Warehouse Operative with an FLT licence to join a well-established agricultural and food production site based in the Wem (SY4) area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, outdoor/yard-based work alongside warehouse duties, with long-term opportunities and a stable working pattern.
Pay & Hours
- £13.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday 07:00 – 17:30
What You’ll Be Doing
- Handling and moving agricultural products and materials
- Loading and unloading deliveries (including farm produce and supplies)
- Yard work and supporting general farm operations
- Picking, packing and preparing stock for dispatch
- Pallet movement and stock control
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Using FLT when required (not the main part of the role)
- Using scanners or systems where needed
What We’re Looking For
- Counterbalance FLT licence (in-date preferred, but expired licences accepted – refresher training provided in-house / newly qualified welcome)
- Previous warehouse, farm or yard experience
- Happy with a mix of indoor and outdoor work
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- PPT experience (advantage but not essential)
- Basic computer / scanner knowledge
- Reliable and proactive attitude
- Own transport essential (due to rural location)
