The Best Connection Group – Manchester is currently recruiting for a Class 1 (Cat CE) Bulk Tipper Driver for our client, a market leader based in Salford. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers seeking job stability and a long-term role leading to permanent positions for the right candidate.
Pay & Hours
- Monday to Friday: £16.30 per hour
- Overtime (after 45 hours): £20.38 per hour
- Saturday: £20.38 per hour
- Nights out: £25
The Role
- Driving a Class 1 (Cat CE) HGV bulk tipper vehicle
- Delivering recycled materials across the UK
- Regular nights out (tramping) in a sleeper cab (equipped with microwave & fridge)
- Daily interaction with customers, maintaining excellent service standards
- Flexible routes – no two days are the same
Ideal Candidate
- Valid Cat CE (Class 1) licence
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing schedules
- Flexible and reliable with a positive, can-do attitude
- Previous bulk tipper experience is advantageous (training provided if not)
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- For insurance purposes must be 25 years or older with 1 year experience on your Class 1 Licence
