The Best Connection are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (LGV C+E Drivers) for a leading multinational logistics and distribution company based in Foston, Derbyshire (DE65). This is an excellent opportunity for professional Class 1 Night Drivers, PM Drivers, and LGV C+E Drivers seeking ongoing work, competitive pay rates, and long-term assignments with a well-established transport operation.
Pay Rates- PM / Night Shift: £17.28 per hour
- Overtime after 9.5 hours: £21.60 per hour
- Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
- Weekly pay
- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 14:00 and 20:00

As a Class 1 HGV Driver (C+E Driver), your responsibilities will include:
- Driving modern Class 1 articulated vehicles
- Delivering palletised goods throughout the UK
- Operating curtain-sided trailers
- Some keg deliveries as required
- Conducting daily vehicle and trailer safety checks
- Completing load security checks
- Following planned delivery routes and schedules
- Communicating effectively with the transport team
- Completing driver paperwork and debrief documentation
- Adhering to Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph Regulations
To be considered for this HGV Class 1 Driver role, you must have:
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card (Digi Card)
- Minimum 1 year's Class 1 driving experience
- Good understanding of driver hours and road transport legislation
- Reliable and professional attitude towards work
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor endorsements only)
