The Best Connection are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 driver(s) to work for our client based in East Leake and Gotham for a major international logistics company. The company is the UK's biggest supplier of plaster boards.
There is no handball in this role. Candidates need an LGV C+E Licence accompanied with digital tachograph card and qualification card; 1 year experience preferred but they will accept new passes as you are required to pass an assessment.
The role of LGV C+E Class one driver:
- Monday to Friday
- Start times available between 17:00-19:00
- You will be required to do 1-4 drops per shift
- No handball just pulling curtains on single deck trailer
- Liaise with transport team on daily route
- Adhering to all working time & tachograph regulations
- Pre vehicle & trailer checks
- Load checks
- Completing all related paperwork & debrief information
