The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Potato Graders to work at a busy agricultural site.
As a Potato Grader, you will be responsible for ensuring potatoes are checked, graded and sorted to the required quality standards before being packed or dispatched.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting potatoes for quality, size and condition.
- Sorting and grading potatoes according to requirements.
- Removing damaged, unsuitable or poor-quality produce.
- Operating and monitoring grading and conveyor equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy working area.
- Following all site health & safety procedures.
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets.
- Carrying out other general duties as required by the site management.
Requirements
- Previous agricultural, food production or grading experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Full training provided.
