Hygiene Operatives to join a well-established and growing food production company in Alfreton, Derbyshire .

As a Hygiene Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the production facility, ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and health & safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitising food production equipment and machinery.
- Deep cleaning production areas, workstations, and factory environments.
- Following strict food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Completing cleaning records and documentation accurately.
- Ensuring all hygiene standards comply with company and industry regulations.
- Supporting production teams in maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
- Adhering to Health & Safety policies at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Hygiene Operative, Industrial Cleaner, Factory Cleaner, Production Cleaner, or Cleaning Operative is desirable but not essential.
- Experience within food manufacturing, food production, FMCG, warehousing, or industrial environments is advantageous.
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Understanding of hygiene standards and food safety practices is beneficial.
- Own transport may be advantageous due to shift start and finish times.
