The Best Connection are proud to be recruiting multiple Grounds Maintenance Operatives for our well-established client, who provide landscape maintenance and soft landscaping services to local authorities across Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, and Kent, serving commercial, public, and private sectors.
Location: Horsham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm
Pay: £12.71 per hour (no experience required) Up to £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out grass cutting using strimmers, pedestrian mowers, and ride-on mowers with trailers (full training provided)
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of all sites
- Operate, maintain, and care for vehicles and equipment
- Perform hedge cutting, shrub and border maintenance, pruning, and leaf clearance
- Undertake landscaping and environmental improvement works, including turfing, seeding, and planting
- Work safely at all times, following health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- No experience required – just a positive, can-do attitude
- Happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Full UK driving licence to get to site
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Comfortable with manual, physical work
