Are you an experienced Class 1 Night Driver seeking reliable night work?

The Best Connection – Eastbourne Branch is currently recruiting for a professional and dependable HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) Driver to support a well-established transport client with trunking operations to regional hubs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Trunking to and from distribution hubs (no handball involved).
  • Ensuring the safe and secure transport of goods.
  • Completing vehicle checks before and after each shift.
  • Accurate completion of paperwork and logbooks.
  • Adhering to all road safety and driver hours regulations.
  • Communication between hub and transport office to report back any delays etc.

Requirements

  • Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Licence.
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Minimum 6 months of recent Class 1 experience preferred.
  • Good knowledge of driver regulations and working time directives.
  • Strong attention to detail and timekeeping.
  • A professional and customer-focused attitude.
