The Best Connection Portsmouth is advertising on behalf of our client based in sites in Portsmouth, Fareham and Southampton for HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers.
Duties:
- Operate HGV Class 2 Tipper vehicles safely and efficiently
- Deliver and collect aggregate from residential and commercial sites
- Ensure correct placement in line with site requirements
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records accurately (e.g. delivery notes, transfer notes)
- Communicate effectively with customers, office staff, and site personnel
- Secure loads correctly and ensure loads are transported safely
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
- Keep vehicle clean and presentable
Hours and Days of Work:
Monday to Friday only, 06:45 starts, finishing around 5/6pm
Pay Rates:
£24.38 weekends and bank holidays only.
You must have HGV Class 1 or 2 Licence and CPC Card. Previous experience in a tipper vehicle preferred but not essential; training would be provided.
