The Best Connection is proud to be working with one of the UK's fastest-growing logistics companies, and we're now looking for a professional shunter driver to join their expanding team. This is a long-term, ongoing role subject to completion of an assessment and induction with the opportunity to go permanent after just 12 weeks for the right driver.
The Role:
- Moving curtain-sided trailers between 2 sites.
- Strapping and securing loads and assisting Loading Operative.
- Monday to Friday schedule – might be required for weekends.
- Friendly and supportive office that understands a Shunter Driver's role.
- Work that keeps you busy, not stressed.
Pay & Hours:
- £14.89 per hour.
- Monday - Thursday 2pm - 10pm, Friday 1pm - 9pm.
Requirements:
- Full UK Category CE licence with a minimum of 6 months driving experience.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR or IN).
- Must pass a paid driving assessment before starting.
- Immediate starts available subject to completion of assessment/induction.
- Ongoing, reliable work with a respected logistics company.
- Opportunity to go permanent after 12 weeks.
