Are you an experienced Class 1 Shunter Driver looking for regular work, great earning potential, and a team that values you? The Best Connection is proud to be working with one of the UK's fastest-growing logistics companies, and we're now looking for a professional shunter driver to join their expanding team. This is a long-term, ongoing role subject to completion of an assessment and induction with the opportunity to go permanent after just 12 weeks for the right driver.

The Role:

  • Moving curtain-sided trailers between 2 sites.
  • Strapping and securing loads and assisting Loading Operative.
  • Monday to Friday schedule – might be required for weekends.
  • Friendly and supportive office that understands a Shunter Driver's role.
  • Work that keeps you busy, not stressed.

Pay & Hours:

  • £14.89 per hour.
  • Monday - Thursday 2pm - 10pm, Friday 1pm - 9pm.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Category CE licence with a minimum of 6 months driving experience.
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
  • No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR or IN).
  • Must pass a paid driving assessment before starting.
  • Immediate starts available subject to completion of assessment/induction.
  • Ongoing, reliable work with a respected logistics company.
  • Opportunity to go permanent after 12 weeks.
  • Excellent work-life balance and steady miles.
