The Best Connection are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team. The role involves operating walking floor and tanker wagons, collecting treated material from water treatment plants and delivering to farms. This is a Monday to Friday tramping role offering stable hours and consistent, ongoing work.

Competitive hourly/weekly pay (DOE):

  • £25 per night out (tax-free allowance)
  • £100 attendance bonus every 4 weeks

Consistent, ongoing work with no weekend requirement. Well-maintained and modern fleet in 'pristine' condition. Supportive and professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Class 1 vehicles (walking floor and tanker wagons) safely and efficiently
  • Collect treated human waste from water treatment plants
  • Deliver to farms in line with schedules
  • Ensure loads are transported safely and comply with regulations
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Accurately complete delivery paperwork and logbooks
  • Comply with all driving, tachograph, and health regulations
