The Best Connection is seeking full-time, ongoing LGV CE / HGV Class 1 drivers for our client in Normanton, WF6. We’re looking for reliable, safety‑focused Primary Drivers to support a trusted food manufacturing and distribution business. In this role, you will deliver fresh bakery products from regional sites to depots, ensuring a smooth and efficient nationwide supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Deliver fresh bakery products from regional sites to depots, supporting the supply chain.
- Maintain high safety standards and comply with all company and regulatory protocols.
- Participate in driving assessments, including manoeuvring and reversing, to demonstrate competency.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 licence with an in‑date CPC and Digi card.
- No more than 6 licence points and no major endorsements.
- Experience as a primary driver in a logistics environment is preferred.
Shifts & Pay
- Shifts available between 14:00–20:00, including most Fridays; preferred start times within these hours can be accommodated.
- Pay rates: 18:00–06:00: £18.00 per hour, £22.01 after 8 hours; 06:00–18:00: £16.00 per hour, £18.50 after 8 hours; Saturday & Sunday: £20.00 all hours.
