Care Connection is recruiting experienced Support Workers to support our clients in the Gloucester area. Shifts here can be variable between 07:00-22:00 and Waking Nights 22:00-07:00.

Please note that to be successful in this role you will be required to travel to the Melksham office SN12 6ES for a practical Manual Handling Induction.

For this particular client you will be working across a variety of supported living services in and around Gloucester. You will be supporting individuals with varying needs, from learning difficulties and physical disabilities to behaviours that may challenge. You will support each service user in a person-centred way, always promoting choice as your number one priority, and enabling each individual to be as independent as possible and live their lives to the fullest.

Job Role:

A Support Worker is required to deliver support within an adult’s health or social care environment, supporting with daily living tasks or development of new skills. The tasks may be one-to-one with an adult or with other support workers or health professionals, and may be provided within the home and garden or outside in the community. Equipment may be required for moving and handling or health tasks. A support plan on site must be followed for completion of tasks, safety, client communication and any end-of-life instruction where relevant.

This is a temporary, ad hoc role; you will be supporting our clients with staffing gaps due to sickness and holidays. Unfortunately, as an Agency, we are unable to provide sponsorship.
