The Best Connection Portsmouth are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Fareham for HGV Class 2 Skip Drivers.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Operate HGV Class 2 skip vehicles safely and efficiently
- Deliver, exchange, and collect skips from residential and commercial sites
- Ensure correct placement and removal of skips in line with site requirements
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records accurately (e.g., delivery notes, waste transfer notes)
- Communicate effectively with customers, office staff, and site personnel
- Secure loads correctly and ensure skips are transported safely
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
- Keep vehicle clean and presentable
This role is available for ongoing or temp to perm role for the right candidate.
Hours of work: 06:00 starts each day
Pay Rates:
- £14.40 per hour Monday to Friday
- £21.60 per hour after 10 hours daily
- £21.60 per hour on all hours on Saturday
You will need to have:
- HGV Class 2 Licence
- DigiCard
- CPCCard
- Previous skip experience preferred but not essential.
