- Job Summary
- We are currently recruiting a
Warehouse Forklift Operative to support a busy print factory in Uckfield.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone reliable, organised, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
You will play a key part in ensuring smooth goods‑in, stock control, and internal logistics between the warehouse and production areas.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Receiving, checking, and booking in stock including paper, inks, and consumables
- Managing goods‑in and dispatch operations
- Maintaining accurate stock records through daily physical counts
- Strapping completed work and organising daily movement between factories
• Producing a simple daily stock report, including
- Completed stock counts
- Internal stock transfers (warehouse machines)
- Replenishment requirements from suppliers
- Daily (or twice‑daily, volume‑dependent) house sheet and paper stock checks
- Liaising with production teams to prioritise work and resolve shortages
- Replenishing stock to ensure uninterrupted workflow
- Operating a counterbalance FLT to ensure stock is moved safely around the workshop
- (Please note: duties may vary depending on operational requirements.)
Health & Safety
- Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Remain vigilant, alert, and aware of surrounding risks at all times
Preferable for this position but not essential
