The Best Connection are working with our Middlesbrough based client to source additional C+E (Class 1) DAY SHIFT Trunk Drivers for their expanding operation.
Summer work - up to 6 weeks continuous work plus potential for ongoing after that.
There are ongoing as well as Ad hoc positions available!
The role:
- Starting at the Middlesbrough hub you will be driving across the country to deliver containers using skeleton trailers.
- There is a minimum of 'Hand-balling' involved.
- The Safe and Timely Operation of a C+E (Class one) vehicle.
- All vehicle checks and reporting of defects.
- Achieving delivery slots.
- Using website-based delivery scheduling.
- Completion of delivery notes and associated paperwork.
The candidate:
- C+E (Class One) Licence.
- Experience using 'skelly' trailers.
- Experience in driving 'Mirror Cam' Trucks.
Rewards:
- £15.20 per hour (PAYE) for all hours worked.
- Plus paid pro-rata holidays.
