The Best Connection Scotland are currently recruiting for our National Client who is in the market for a Class 2 driver to load and deliver to homes throughout the Central Belt Area. You will be part of a 2 man team and will have an experienced 2nd man with you. This role is Fri/Sat/Sat/Mon, Depot is based in the north Glasgow area with working hours 7am-9am starts to finish (Pd 8hrs min).
Basic duties will include:
- Loading materials onto vehicle
- Delivering and unloading to various sites including home delivery
- General upkeep of vehicle
This can be a physically demanding job so candidate must have a good level of fitness.
Requirements:
- Class 2 HGV Driving Licence with 6 months min experience
- Continuous driving for at least 3 months
- Valid Drivers CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- Documented work history
- References
- Excellent Customer service skills - Must have a good level of English
Monday to Friday £14.70ph first 8hrs, £22.05ph after 8hrs and Saturday.
