HGV Driver – Chertsey (KT16)
Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour. Location: Chertsey, KT16. Schedule: Monday to Friday, plus one Saturday per month.
This role offers a mixture of HGV Class 1 (C+E) and HGV Class 2 (Category C) route allocations, providing varied work throughout the week.
Duties
- Trunking operations to airport locations.
- Scheduled truck runs to Gloucester and Wallingford.
- Safe and efficient delivery of goods.
- Completion of all relevant paperwork and transport documentation.
- Conducting daily vehicle walk‑around checks and defect reporting.
- Ensuring compliance with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and Road Transport regulations.
- Maintaining high standards of vehicle cleanliness and road safety.
- Adhering to company policies and customer site procedures.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) and/or Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Valid CPC Card & Digi Card.
- Minimum 5‑year employment history (required for vetting purposes).
- Good understanding of UK driving regulations and compliance requirements.
- Professional and customer‑focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexible start times as required.

- CO Training will be provided by TBC.
