The Best Connection – Newport is currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join a leading logistics company based in Chepstow.

This is a hands-on delivery role, transporting industrial catering equipment to six key locations across the UK. Due to the nature and weight of the goods, you will be accompanied by a driver’s mate to assist with unloading.

Role Overview

Delivery of industrial catering equipment across designated UK regions
Working as part of a two-person team (with a driver’s mate)
Start times from 06:00 am
Monday to Friday shifts
Some manual handling required, with support provided
£15.65 per hour, paid weekly
Holiday pay accrued

Candidate Requirements

Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
CPC Qualification
Digital Tachograph Card
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Good communication and customer service skills
Previous multidrop or delivery experience is desirable
