We are looking for reliable and competent General Maintenance Operatives to join our busy Whitehaven team!
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (08:00–16:00)
Start Date: Immediate
Location: Whitehaven, Cumbria
Salary: GBP13.08 per hour
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Cleaning and maintaining signs and benches to ensure they remain presentable and safe
- Mowing and caring for grassed areas to keep outdoor spaces tidy and welcoming
- Planting flowers and maintaining landscaped areas to enhance the environment
- Removing fly tipping and other litter to maintain cleanliness and safety
- Emptying bins and ensuring waste is managed correctly
- Assisting with general repairs and upkeep as required
What We’re Looking For:
- Some experience in maintenance or grounds keeping is preferred, but candidates with limited experience will also be considered and given full training
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Driving licence required
