The Best Connection is currently recruiting for experienced Cabin Fitters to join a well-established and growing manufacturing team based in Bridgend. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with the potential for a permanent position following a successful trial period.
Pay Rate: £12.78 p/h
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts
The Role
As a Cabin Fitter, you will be responsible for fitting out modular buildings and portable cabins to a high standard. Working as part of a skilled team, your duties will include:
- Internal fitting of modular cabins
- Installing partition walls, doors, windows and flooring
- Basic carpentry and joinery work
- Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Reading and working from technical drawings where required
- Ensuring all work meets quality and health & safety standards
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in cabin fitting, shopfitting, carpentry, joinery or modular construction
- Competent using hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a positive work ethic
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
