About the Role
Class 1 (C+E) Day Driver responsible for multidrop deliveries to customer sites as per planned routes.
Responsibilities
- Complete full pre- and post-vehicle checks
- Carry out multidrop deliveries to customer sites as per planned routes
- Follow delivery schedules and instructions accurately
- Complete trunking, palletised multidrop deliveries or general haulage work (depending on route)
- Communicate professionally with the transport office and customers
- Ensure all paperwork and delivery notes are completed correctly
- Adhere to all company and industry health & safety procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (LGV C+E) Licence
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- Experience with multidrop work preferred
- No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Reliable, professional and punctual
- Comfortable with early morning starts
