The Best Connection is seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Driver / Yard Operative to join a busy and growing supplier within the landscaping sector. This role combines forklift operation with hands-on yard duties and requires someone comfortable working outdoors and handling heavy materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently (approx. 40% of role)
- Loading and unloading deliveries and collections
- Moving stock and materials around the yard
- Manual handling and heavy lifting of landscaping equipment and products
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard environment
- Supporting general warehouse and yard operations as required
Requirements (Essential)
- Valid FLT licence – non-negotiable
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or industrial environment
- Physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00
