The Best Connection has an exciting opportunity to recruit a 7.5T Driver based in the Dartford area. As a Category C1 Driver, you will be responsible for the delivery of bathroom parts to customers and businesses across London and the South East. Please be aware that this is a temp-to-perm position, offering the opportunity for a permanent role following a successful temporary period.
Hours of Work: 06:30am starts with a finish time around 15:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Pay Rate: £15.30 per hour (PAYE) £34,320 annually
Duties:
- Curb side delivery of bathroom products to customers and commercial premises
- Driving a Category C1 (7.5T) vehicle
- Deliveries across London, Kent, and surrounding areas
- Daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy
- Loading and unloading products as part of deliveries
To Be Eligible for This Position:
- Full Category C1 Licence with a maximum of 6 points
- Minimum 2 years’ commercial driving experience
- Experience driving within London
- Physically fit, as heavy lifting may be involved
- Good customer service and communication skills
