The Vice Principal role is central to the leadership and management of the school. Working closely with the Principal, you will help to:
- Lead and implement whole-school improvement priorities
- Ensure high-quality teaching, learning and curriculum provision
- Raise standards and outcomes for all pupils
- Sustain a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, parents and carers
- Support the effective day-to-day running of the school
- Deputise for the Principal when required
In addition to leadership responsibilities, the role includes class teaching, allowing the Vice Principal to remain firmly connected to classroom practice and pupil outcomes. As we move forward in our partnership with Lift Schools, this role will help embed a shared moral purpose: ensuring every child receives an excellent education, in every classroom, every day.
