What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting with basic food preparation and serving
- Helping the catering team prepare meals
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Washing up and keeping kitchen areas organised
- Following food safety and allergen procedures
- Supporting the wider catering team during busy service periods
We're looking for a Kitchen Assistant who is:
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable working in a busy school kitchen
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS cleared
- Able to provide 2 references
- Holds Food Safety Level 2 and Food Allergen Certificates - or is willing to obtain them
- Experienced in a catering or kitchen environment is desirable, but not essential
