Events & Groups Coordinator
The Berkeley
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Events & Groups Coordinator to join the Events Sales & Planning team at The Berkeley.
With an independent spirit and an eye for style, The Berkeley is the epitome of modern British luxury. Rooms are furnished by leading designers. The Berkeley is perfectly positioned between Hyde Park, fashionable Knightsbridge and the residential neighbourhood of Belgravia. Its signature experiences include the famed Blue Bar, The Berkeley Bar & Terrace, and The Berkeley Café.
As Events & Groups Coordinator , you will have a passion for delivering an outstanding guest experience and enjoy all aspects of planning and executing luxury events. You will be an excellent and confident communicator and have the ability to interact with guests and clients to ensure a fantastic experience at The Berkeley.
Main responsibilities of the Events & Groups Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- Answer incoming calls to the Events & Groups department dealing with general enquiries.
- Liaise with all appropriate departments concerning group bookings taking place in food and beverage areas and ensure the smooth and efficient co-ordination of all bookings.
- Prepare event stationery such as menus, table plans and buffet labels as required.
- Assist the event sales team with preparing invoices as required.
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly Events lists and distribute these. Issue change logs on a daily basis, and the weekly events pack on a weekly basis.
- Contribute to maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA standards at all times.
