Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of basic food items and ingredients
  • Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised kitchen environment
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Always follow food hygiene and allergen standards
  • Assist with clearing down and closing the kitchen after service
  • Support meal service, including serving food where required

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is essential
  • Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
  • Food Safety Level 1 or 2, or willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain is essential
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Flexible and adaptable to different sites and shifts
  • Driving licence preferred but not essential
