A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Bar Back (Casual) to join The Berkeley Bar & Terrace team at The Berkeley. The Berkeley is perfectly positioned between Hyde Park, fashionable Knightsbridge, and the residential neighbourhood of Belgravia. Its signature experiences include the famed Blue Bar and The Berkeley Bar & Terrace.
As a Bar Back (Casual), you will organise, clean and set up the front and back of house areas of the bar. Prepare the bar for service, taking requisitions and maintain an elevated level of cleanliness in conjunction with the monthly rota.
Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Berkeley Bar Team in organising, cleaning, and setting up the front of house and back of house areas of the bars, ensuring that 5* luxury standards are maintained at all times.
- Prepare the bar for service, ensuring all bar equipment is clean and readily available for the bartenders on duty.
- Be fully conversant with all Bar menus and special offers, ensuring efficient communication is maintained at all times.
- Regularly check the quality of products used in the bars and ensure that stock levels are monitored and reported accordingly.
- Contribute in maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA standards at all times.
