About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with basic food preparation and service
  • Supporting kitchen and catering teams with daily operations
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Washing up and ensuring kitchen and service areas are clean and organised
  • Setting up and clearing dining/service areas
  • Assisting with stock rotation and basic storage tasks
  • Adhering to all food safety and health & safety regulations
  • Working efficiently during busy service periods

Working Hours

Monday to Friday (weekends typically off) Shifts available between: Start times: 7am – 9:00am Finish times: 2:00pm – 4:30pm

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child Workforce) – essential
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Previous experience in a catering, hospitality, or cleaning role preferred
  • Level 1 or 2 Food Safety Certificate (desirable)
  • Experience in schools, care homes, or contract catering advantageous
  • Strong reliability, organisation, and timekeeping
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
