Our client requires a Chef Manager to run a contract in the provision of high end private education catering. Set up in order to help people meet their full potential, this is a great environment in which to work. They are currently seeking an experienced Head Chef or Chef Manager, preferably with a background in volume education catering, to take up the challenge.
Working on a 5 days over 7 basis, 40 weeks per year, you will be managing a team of 5 providing high end, quality food to around 60 students. You will be involved in the day to day catering services on site and work with suitable menus that exceed expectations. Alongside this, you will ensure that all health, safety and hygiene standards are met. An experience and knowledge of dietary requirements and allergens is essential. Stock and financial control is also in your remit.
Required Experience
You will have experience of the provision of food to similar volume at Head Chef or Chef Manager level in a further education environment, accoladed hotel, or prestige business and industry contract. You will need to demonstrate a record of success and the drive and desire to always increase standards of food and service. You will require up to date references, and a clean DBS check. A knowledge of modern food trends and commerciality is paramount, alongside a background in working with the highest quality standards and levels of food.
