What You’ll Be Doing
As a Chef Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting the catering team
- Planning and preparing high-quality meals
- Overseeing daily kitchen operations
- Ensuring food is prepared and served to a high standard
- Managing stock, supplies and kitchen organisation
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Following all food safety and allergen procedures
- Creating a welcoming and professional environment
- Supporting and motivating kitchen staff throughout service
Requirements
We are looking for a confident Chef Manager who has:
- Previous experience in a chef or catering management role
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- An Enhanced DBS
- 2 references
- Food Safety Level 2 Certificate
- Food Allergen Certificate
- Or willingness to obtain the required food safety and allergen certificates
- A reliable, professional and positive attitude
- The ability to work effectively in a busy school environment
