Berkeley Scott are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef Manager to join a school catering team in Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced catering professional looking for an immediate start.

What you will be doing:
As a Chef Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the school kitchen and ensuring a high standard of food and service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving high-quality meals
- Managing the day-to-day kitchen operation
- Leading and supporting kitchen staff
- Maintaining food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Managing stock and food orders
- Ensuring meals are prepared to the required standards
- Creating a positive and professional environment for pupils and staff
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Chef Manager or in a similar senior catering role
- Experience within a school or education setting is desirable
- Enhanced DBS required
- 2 references required
- Food Safety Level 2 certificate required (or willingness to obtain)
- Food Allergen certificate required (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to lead a team and work effectively under pressure
- Right to work in the UK
