We’re delighted to be recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an exciting Café Manager opportunity at a flagship contract catering site.
This is an excellent role for a passionate hospitality professional who enjoys being hands‑on, loves great coffee, and wants to lead a successful café operation within a prestigious business environment.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day running of the café, leading your team from the front while ensuring the operation runs smoothly behind the scenes.
This is a role that offers real variety—you’ll be making exceptional coffee during busy service, building strong client relationships, and managing the administrative and operational processes that keep everything running efficiently.
You’ll also work closely with the onsite chefs to deliver a seamless food and beverage offering, ensuring the café provides an outstanding experience for customers every day.
The Role
- Managing the daily operation of a busy café within a flagship corporate contract catering site.
- Leading, coaching, and motivating your team to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Working closely with the onsite chefs to ensure the food and beverage offer is delivered to the highest standards.
- Producing excellent coffee and supporting the team during busy periods.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with the onsite client.
- Managing stock, ordering, rotas, compliance, paperwork, and back‑of‑house administration.
- Driving high standards across service, presentation, and operational performance.
- We’re Looking For
Our client is keen to speak with candidates who have
- Previous experience managing or supervising a busy café.
- A genuine passion for coffee and strong barista skills.
- A hands‑on approach and a willingness to lead by example.
- Excellent organisational skills and confidence managing the operational side of the business.
- Experience working collaboratively with kitchen teams and chefs to deliver a first‑class customer experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
- Previous contract catering experience would be a distinct advantage, although candidates from high‑quality café or hospitality backgrounds will also be considered.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with the energy, enthusiasm, and drive to take ownership of the café and continue to build on its success.
