We are looking for a Hotel Manager for this very prestigious five star hotel. It is a fully operational role and so you will be someone who enjoys the operational side of the business. You must be a Hotel Manager from a 5 star background. As Hotel Manager you will have an incredible eye and attention to detail. You will also be someone who can lead the team by example and inspire them to be better every day. It is essential that, as Hotel Manager, you are very guest focussed and drive that throughout the team and the hotel.
Key Hotel Manager responsibilities:
- Oversee & hands on participation in daily hotel operations ensuring 5-star standards across all departments, including Reception, F&B, Housekeeping, Kitchen, Maintenance, Groundmen
- Oversee & hands on operational execution of Hotel weddings, celebrations & events
- Hand-on involvement and operational excellence with VIP guests
- Lead daily operational briefings and weekly Ops meeting
- Daily walk-arounds ensuring product excellence across all areas
- Guest interaction at breakfast and cocktail times
- Participate in Executive management meetings
- Implement SOPs and continuous improvement initiatives
You will have a strong F&B knowledge and support the team in all F&B outlets. This includes weddings and events. Cost control in all areas is something that you will focus on, including payroll. Salary is based on experience. No sponsorship options available for this role.
