Berkeley Scott is recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to join a high-performance sports catering operation in Failand.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a professional catering team supporting elite athletes within a state-of-the-art training environment.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of busy restaurant and kitchen facilities, helping deliver over 200 nutritious meals daily.
This position would suit someone looking to develop a career in hospitality and catering, with full training available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve healthy and nutritious meals to players and staff.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout kitchen and restaurant areas.
- Clean and sanitise food preparation areas, equipment, crockery and cutlery.
- Ensure restaurant and service areas remain organised, stocked and presentable.
- Replenish food stores and monitor stock levels.
- Assist with stock control and ordering processes.
- Prepare fresh produce for service.
- Maintain coffee machines and staff kitchen facilities.
- Manage waste and recycling safely and efficiently.
- Support kitchen portering duties during busy periods.
- Clean and sanitise dining and service areas before and after meal periods.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
