We are looking for an experienced and energetic General Manager to oversee all aspects of venue operations, team leadership, guest experience, and business development. You will be responsible for driving commercial performance, maintaining outstanding service standards, and creating a welcoming environment for both guests and team members.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop a high‐performing team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Manage staffing, recruitment, induction, training, and rota planning in line with budgets and business needs.
- Oversee day‐to‐day venue operations, ensuring service, presentation, and operational standards are consistently achieved.
- Drive sales growth through events, promotions, upselling initiatives, and business development opportunities.
- Work closely with marketing, guest experience, and kitchen teams to deliver memorable guest experiences.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, stock control, cost management, and revenue growth.
- Maintain effective event planning and delivery, ensuring all customer enquiries are handled professionally.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, GDPR, and security procedures.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and ensure all team members are fully trained on systems, products, and services.
- Proven experience in a senior hospitality management role.
- Excellent financial management skills and acumen.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Commercially minded with experience managing budgets, sales performance, and profitability.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem‐solving abilities.
- Experience managing events, entertainment venues, or multi‐activity hospitality businesses is essential.
