Hours: Full-time Permanent

Pay: £13.45–£14.00 per hour (depending on experience)

We are currently seeking an experienced and confident Events Supervisor to support the smooth delivery of a wide range of events. This role is ideal for someone with strong hospitality or events experience who is ready to take on a supervisory position, lead by example, and ensure consistently high standards of customer service, organisation, and event delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising the day-to-day operation of events during shifts
  • Leading and supporting event staff to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Coordinating event set-up, service, and breakdown
  • Ensuring event spaces are presented to a high standard at all times
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and responding to guest enquiries professionally
  • Managing workflow during busy events and ensuring efficient team performance
  • Supporting cash handling and payment processing where required
  • Maintaining cleanliness, health & safety, and food hygiene standards
  • Assisting with stock control, equipment checks, and replenishment
  • Ensuring opening and closing procedures are completed correctly
  • Liaising with management to ensure events run efficiently and client expectations are met

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or event operations is essential
  • Previous supervisory or team leader experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Ability to remain calm, organised, and effective under pressure
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends where required
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
  • Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable)
  • Experience in a busy events, conference, hospitality, hotel, or catering environment
