As a Maintenance Supervisor you will support the Maintenance function across the hotel, ensuring it is maintained to the highest standards in line with the brand expectations. You will play a key role in delivering a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for our guests and associates while overseeing the smooth day-to-day operation of maintenance activities.
Guest Experience
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests
- Minimise disruption and ensure a positive guest experience at all times
- Maintain high presentation standards throughout guest and public areas
Maintenance Operations
- Carry out day-to-day maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas
- Complete repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general upkeep
- Support and coordinate preventative maintenance programmes across both hotels
- Assist in monitoring contractor work and ensuring maintenance tasks are completed efficiently
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company and Marriott brand health & safety procedures
- Ensure compliance with fire safety and life safety systems
- Identify, report, and proactively address maintenance risks or hazards
- Ensure maintenance activities are carried out in line with compliance standards
Operations
- Assist in monitoring building systems including HVAC, water, and electrical systems
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and compliance documentation
- Support sustainability and energy-saving initiatives across hotel
- Help ensure maintenance stock, tools, and equipment are organised and maintained
Experience
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or a similar branded hotel role essential
- Experience within hospitality is essential
- Relevant trade qualification or technical experience advantageous
