Working in a team with Head of Acquisitions, the Senior Acquisition Manager role will play a critical role in identifying and acquiring land on behalf of the Agency to accelerate regeneration and the delivery of new housing.
You will be joining our talented and experienced team working across Yorkshire, Humber and the North West.
The team believes in working in a collaborative and flexible way to taking an innovative and creative approach to problem solving., This is a rare chance to shape the future development in a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose.
Working with key stakeholders and a professional team you will ensure efficient, consistent and robust due diligence to enable critical decision making on new projects to support local place priorities.
The role will support the design and delivery of key strategic projects in the North of England.
There are some creative projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day to day delivery whilst bringing innovative solutions to the Acquisitions offering.
You’ll be comfortable supporting the Regional Team with complex delivery issues, aiming to support the identification of appropriate interventions to unlock land for development and securing land acquisitions where these are required.
You will be proficient in assessing land within the region and have a strong track record of negotiating successful land acquisitions.
Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy.
You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as an Acquisitions team.
You will enjoy working in a collaborative way and will be able to negotiate and persuade.
As an experienced property professional you’ll understand how to manage and share your experiences with colleagues and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.
