As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a range of modern vehicles, including hybrid and electric vehicles.
Your responsibilities will include
- Carrying out routine servicing and mechanical repairs
- Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults
- Working with electrical and electronic vehicle systems
- Carrying out diagnostics using manufacturer-approved equipment
- Working safely on hybrid and electric vehicles
- Inspecting vehicles and identifying additional repair requirements
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
- Following health & safety and manufacturer procedures
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop
Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair - Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Hybrid and electric vehicle experience/qualification
- Good understanding of modern vehicle electrical systems
- A full UK driving licence
- Excellent attention to detail and a professional approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
