We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team in Jersey. This is a full-time, permanent, site-based role within a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Project Manager and Regional Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day supervision of site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards., Supervising daily site operations and coordinating trades and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising daily site operations and coordinating trades and subcontractors.
  • Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements.
  • Monitoring progress on site and reporting updates to the Project Manager.
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conducting regular site inspections and toolbox talks.
  • Ensuring quality control procedures are implemented and maintained.
  • Assisting with risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and site inductions.
  • Recording daily site activities, inspections, and workforce attendance.
  • Supporting the management of QA documentation and the Golden Thread where applicable.
  • Identifying potential issues on site and escalating them promptly.
  • Ensuring site housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
  • If you're not based in Jersey you must be willing to travel and stay overnight for this position.

Qualifications

  • Background in facades or cladding projects
  • SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
  • 3-Day First Aid at Work certification.
  • CSCS Gold Card (Supervisor level).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a site supervisory role.
  • Experience working for a main contractor.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards within construction.
  • Understanding of BSR and Golden Thread principles (desirable).
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with construction/site management software.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead site teams effectively.
  • Well organised, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
  • A positive, hands‑on approach with strong attention to detail.
