We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our operational team. The role is full-time, permanent, and based on-site, with travel to various locations as required. You will be responsible for ensuring all projects meet the highest quality and compliance standards, with a particular focus on cladding remediation, industrial new-builds, and refurbishment projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites, materials, and workmanship, identifying and addressing quality issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to establish and maintain quality objectives.
  • Provide guidance and training to teams on quality assurance best practices.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to quality concerns, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection reports and compliance certificates.
  • Monitor and track quality performance metrics, analysing data to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and the Golden Thread of Information requirements (essential).
  • Ability to configure and tailor quality assurance systems to BBP's requirements, ensuring high-quality documentation and instructing others in its correct use (Procore training will be provided).
  • Experience in construction quality assurance or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing QA programmes.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications in quality management (desirable).
