Salary: The annual salary is 30,014.40, plus service charges.
About the role: As Assistant Night Manager you will be leading the night operation across the resort. Responsible for managing the team and maintaining consistently high standards of service and ensuring a flawless guest experience while creating a work environment that supports the Belfry values. You will lead by example and provide full support to the nights team to ensure seamless running of the business.
- Assisting the manager in running the night operation across the resort.
- Being on the floor and ready to assist across all departments and making decisions to help and improve the service offered to our guests.
- Providing excellent guest service, resolving problems when they arise and identifying opportunities to make guests' experiences memorable and enjoyable.
- Responsible for the health and safety of guests in house - record all accidents and incidents that may occur within the hotel for guests and staff.
- Assisting with the Night Audit.
- To be available at all times to deal with guest queries and/or complaints, personally monitoring guest satisfaction with regular reporting to the General Manager.
- To support the night cleaning staff and ensure they are carrying out the duties allocated to them.
- To check all public areas, including conference rooms, to ensure they have been cleaned and serviced correctly.
- Co-ordinating and completing the night roster and dealing with any staff absenteeism issues.
- To be a champion in your department for our waste management and ESG commitments.
- To maintain a good working relationship with all colleagues, being able to motivate the night's team to ensure each member is achieving a high level of performance in their role and provide necessary support where required.

- Excellent customer service skills with a genuine desire to deliver exceptional experiences to every guest.
- Experience working with Opera is preferred but not essential.
- An experienced manager who has led teams within a front office environment.
- Fantastic eye for detail.
- Experienced in taking ownership over your department and achieving financial and guest targets.
- Able to develop strong relationships with your guests, team, and colleagues.
