The Belfry Hotel & Resort is an award-winning hotel, home to 300+ luxurious bedrooms and suites, several restaurants and bars, events and meetings spaces, a leisure club and spa. Our three golf courses, including The Brabazon, are recognised as world-class. The Brabazon Bar is the heart of our resort, serving light dishes and coffees during the morning, afternoon tea, and hand-crafted cocktails in the evening. The bar is home to live music during the weekend.
As Food & Beverage Assistant Manager, you will work alongside the managers to lead and organise your team to deliver excellent operational standards and maximise revenue in the department. You will also be responsible for:
- Coaching, developing, and acting as a role model to your team
- Overseeing compliance with Health & Safety regulations
- Handling customer queries and resolving any issues
- Assisting in recruitment and training to company standards
- Reviewing weekly business to address successes and opportunities for improvement with revenue, guest measures, and payroll
- Overseeing the cellar, stock control and bar training
- Identifying opportunities to drive profit, create value for guests, and encourage innovation
- Ensuring that your team are informed, motivated, engaged, and developed, to deliver operational excellence
The ideal candidate will have a proven food & beverage background within high-end hotels or cocktail bars, with experience in high volume. You will also have:
- Outstanding leadership skills that inspire and motivate others to deliver exceptional results
- Absolute commitment to guest expectations & their experience
- Personal integrity to develop trust within their team
- Experience in cellar management and stock control
- Experience in making rotas and managing payroll
