The Housekeeping team ensures every guest has an exceptional experience by maintaining impeccable cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas. With outstanding professionalism and attention to detail, they create a welcoming environment, leaving a lasting positive impression on resort visitors.
About the role
This role is contracted at 21 hours, working 3 days out of 7, with the approximate working hours being 2:30pm – 10:00pm.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work as a Supreme Housekeeper, cleaning rooms to the highest standards as business requires.
- Hands-on approach to housekeeping – demonstrating, training, leading.
- People management – persuasive, inspiring and determined. Helping all team members achieve their full potential in their role.
- Monitoring and managing the Q – ensuring room readiness.
- Monitoring HSK back of house areas to ensure cleanliness and readiness at all times.
- Stock control and organisation across the blocks.
- Cleanliness of the block public spaces.
- Cleanliness of the guest rooms and corridors.
- Standards testing of the housekeeping line staff and regular quality checks of all areas.
- Assist with training of new and existing staff.
- Attend and lead departmental briefings.
- Communicate and work with other departments in the hotel.
The on-target earning potential for this role is a £14,327.04 annual salary, comprising a base salary of £13,682.76 supplemented by an estimated £644.28 in gratuities per annum, ensuring a rewarding compensation package.
