As a supervisor in the housekeeping team, you will be required to assist the Housekeeping Management with, but not limited to, leading an AM or PM shift from the floor, briefing and directing the team.
Responsibilities
- Lead AM or PM shifts from the floor, briefing and directing the housekeeping team.
- Maintain the highest cleaning standards for rooms and public spaces as required by the business.
- Demonstrate, train and lead housekeeping staff with a hands‑on approach.
- Persuade, inspire and motivate team members to achieve their full potential.
- Monitor and manage the quality score system to ensure room readiness.
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of HSK back‑of‑house areas at all times.
- Control stock and organise supplies across all blocks.
- Maintain the cleanliness of block public spaces, guest rooms and corridors.
- Conduct standards testing of line staff and perform regular quality checks of all areas.
- Assist with the training of new and existing staff.
- Attend and lead departmental briefings.
- Communicate effectively with other departments in the hotel.
