The Belfry Hotel & Resort is an award-winning hotel, home to 300+ luxurious bedrooms and suites, several restaurants and bars, events and meetings spaces, a leisure club and spa. Our three golf courses, including The Brabazon, are recognised as world-class. The resort has undergone a major expansion and renovation with an investment of over £80 million, marking a new and exciting chapter in our history.

The Ryder Grill & Kitchen is a 220 seat restaurant that offers a number of menu options, ranging from our stunning 2 rosette à la Carte menu to chef's table and a Sunday Carvery. The restaurant goes into full service and you will work with the rest of the team to deliver up to 300 covers on busy evenings, not including starters and desserts. On Sundays we run a carvery menu, which is our busiest day in the restaurant.

Salary

The on target earning potential for this role is £32,427.22 annual salary, comprising of a base salary of £30,789.22 plus a qualified estimate of £1,638.00 gratuities per annum.

About the role

This role is 45 hours per week, from 12 or 3pm until close, 5 days out of seven. This role will include:

  • Overseeing key services and ensuring a fantastic experience for all of our guests
  • Working with the Restaurant Manager to establish and implement standards of performance within the Restaurant
  • Ensuring the team is fully briefed and trained
  • Creating an environment which promotes employee morale and pride

  • An experienced supervisor who has led teams in busy, service-led restaurants
  • Passionate about quality food, wine and beverages and the use of seasonal produce
  • An inspirational leader who develops your team and fosters excitement for our food and drinks offering
  • Fantastic eye for detail
  • Experienced in taking ownership over your department and achieving financial and guest targets
  • Able to develop strong relationships with your guests, team, and colleagues
