As Assistant Night Manager you will lead the night operation across the resort, managing the team, maintaining consistently high standards of service, and ensuring a flawless guest experience while supporting the Belfry values.
Key responsibilities include
- Assist the manager in running the night operation and make on‑the‑spot decisions to improve service across all departments.
- Provide excellent guest service, resolve problems when they arise, and identify opportunities to make guests’ experiences memorable.
- Take responsibility for health and safety of guests and staff; record all accidents and incidents.
- Assist with the Night Audit and monitor guest satisfaction with regular reports to the General Manager.
- Support the night cleaning staff, ensure all duties are completed and public areas are cleaned and serviced correctly.
- Coordinate and complete the night roster and handle staff absenteeism issues.
- Champion waste management and ESG commitments within the department.
- Maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, motivate the team, and provide necessary support to achieve high performance.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills with a genuine desire to deliver exceptional experiences.
- Experience working with Opera software (preferred).
- Proven experience managing front‑office teams during night shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to take ownership of your department.
- Track record of achieving financial and guest satisfaction targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with guests, team, and colleagues.
