Housekeeping

The Housekeeping team ensures every guest has an exceptional experience by maintaining impeccable cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas. With outstanding professionalism and attention to detail, they create a welcoming environment, leaving a lasting positive impression on resort visitors.

Salary

The hourly rate is £12.71, plus service charge.

About the role

This role is ideal for anyone with a background of working in a highly physical environment, e.g. Hospital Porter, Warehouse Operative, Manual Labourer, or a Stores Person / Stockroom Assistant.

Duties of the job include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining quality standards of linen
  • Ensuring all used linen has been collected
  • Ensuring all departments have the requested linen on a daily basis
  • To check that the corridors and service rooms are clean and tidy
  • Keep corridors free from linen, linen bags and linen skips
  • Ensure fantastic customer service when in contact with guests around the resort
  • Ensure the equipment rooms are at the standard set out by the Housekeeping management team
  • Refill room condiments / room trollies at the end of the day
  • Record linen in / out of the rooms allocated
  • Be able to manage your time effectively
  • Keep on top of the upkeep of the public areas throughout the Resort
  • To keep on top of any administration relevant to the position and handed to the team leader on duty
  • To attend all housekeeping team meetings
  • You will be required to work weekends
